Watch Cruise’s Self-Driving Car Take a Night Ride

Cruise Automation, a General Motors-owned self-driving car company, recently released a video of an autonomous car being piloted at night.

Cruise Automation is developing autonomous technology capable of handling challenging aspects of city driving. Its fleet of Chevrolet Bolt EVs are deployed on busy San Francisco streets testing the future of mobility.

This new video is the third in Cruise’s series of videos showing a significant period of unbroken autonomous driving time. This installment focuses on a night-time ride through San Francisco and covers an entire hour of driving, although the video is sped up 10 times from the original footage. Overall, the video consists of five scheduled stops, zero driver intervention, and one raccoon.
